How to Use the Dual Safety Timers.

Every single hire and sales sunbed we supply is equipped with two independent mechanical safety timers. Both timers must be set for the bed to operate, acting as a redundant safety system. If one timer malfunctions or fails, the secondary safety timer will automatically shut down the power to prevent overexposure.

Operating Instructions:

1. Connect Power: Canopy models plug into any standard 13A socket (extension leads are fine). VT20 and VX240 vertical models require 2 × 13A wall sockets — extension leads must NOT be used with vertical units.
2. Set Timer 1 (Safety Cut-off): Turn the dial clockwise to match your desired session length (e.g. 6 minutes).
3. Set Timer 2 (Primary Switch): Turn the second dial clockwise to the exact same duration. The fans and lamps will start immediately.
4. Emergency Stop: If you need to turn off the sunbed at any time during a session, simply switch it off at the mains. NEVER turn the timer dials backwards — this damages the internal mechanism and may void your hire agreement.
